Shipping Locations
A Friendly Scooter ships to the United States and Canada via either UPS or FedEx. For orders outside the USA please submit your order and we will email to you the exact shipping cost, or call us at 1-877-726-6885. You will not be charged until you agree to the shipping charge and method.

Shipping Rates
A Friendly Scooter offers free shipping on all products throughout the continental United States. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and outside the United States will have additional shipping charges. We will contact you via email or phone for your approval.

Delivery Time
All orders except for Custom Wheelchairs, Scooters, Lift Chairs and Lifts usually ship within 2 business days. Orders are generally shipped via either UPS or FedEx ground though some orders are shipped via a freight company or the USPS and take 5-7 business days to reach the customer.

Custom Manual Wheelchairs and Lift Chairs take an average of 2 weeks to reach the customer. Ultralight Manual Wheelchairs (extra wide, etc.) take approximately 2-3 weeks.

Motorized Wheelchairs and Electric Scooters take 1-2 weeks depending on the model and color. Custom motorized wheelchairs and scooters (extra wide, etc.) take approximately 2-3 weeks.

If you need you order in a shorter period of time please contact our customer service at 1-877-726-6885. Extra charges may apply.

In the event that your order cannot go out in the above mentioned time. You will be contacted immediately with the reason for the delay. You can either cancel the order or wait for shipment. In the event that we cannot reach you to make a delivery we will reattempt to deliver for up to one week at which time we will return the order and charge you a 10% restocking fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If an order is cancelled after a payment is received, but before the item has shipped, a $50 fee wiill be deducted from the refund.
If an order is cancelled and the item has already been shipped, a 10% restocking fee plus the cost of the outbound shipping will be deducted from the refund. The customer must refuse delivery from freight company. If anyone signs for accepts delivery, the customer is responsible for the original outbound shipping costs and the return shipping costs plus a 10% restocking fee.

RETURN POLICY
If you would like to return an item for whatever reason, you have 7 days from delivery to contact us for return authorization. The customer is responsible for packaging and shipping the item. Once received in new condition, a 20% restocking fee plus the original outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. If the cartons are no longer usable for repacking the item, the customer must purchase new cartons plus the cost of shipping the cartons. No used items will be accepted for return. The sale of all used items are final and cannot be returned.

Return Process: To return a product, the above conditions must be met. Furthermore, we require that all returns follow these instructions for proper processing:

1. Call or email request to Return Authorization Number (RA)
2. Warehouse must receive item within 15 days of an RA# being issued
3. Report via phone or email a tracking number to customer service
4. Items sent without an RA number cannot be credited

Refunds: All credits will be given after receipt and warehouse inspection approval.

Cancellations: If you cancel your order after it has already shipped we consider it a return and the above policies apply. We reserve the right to charge full shipping costs if the item is refused delivery.

WARRANTY
All new electric scooters, power chairs and lifts come with a manufacturers 1 year warranty that covers the electrical and mechanical parts. The customer is responsible for registering the item at time of purchase. A Friendly Scooter, LLC. Is not responsible for warranty claims made on unregistered items. All warranty claims are subject to the manufacturers guidelines. The customer is responsible for transporting the item to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. If the part is found to be a manufacture defect, it will be replaced. Labor charges and transportation costs are not covered under warranty and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

DAMAGE
If an item arrives with obvious carton damage, it must be noted with the delivery driver at the time of delivery. If there is no sign of damage on the package, but damage is found inside, you have 24 hours to report the claim.

REFUNDS
Refunds are issued within 30 days of cancellation or receipt of a returned item. All refunds are issued in the form of a company check. No refunds will be credited back to a credit card. Additional charges will apply to any customer who does a chargeback on their credit card. Upon purchasing any item from this website online or by phone, the customer agrees and accepts the Terms and Conditions listed above.
